Leslie Klenerman, MB BCh, ChM(Wits), FRCS(Ed), FRCS(Eng), is Emeritus Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Liverpool. As a consultant orthopaedic surgeon he worked at Northwick Park Hospital and Clinical Research Centre until he moved to a chair at Liverpool University. He subsequently worked as a Senior Demonstrator in the Anatomy Department at Cambridge University. He is the author of several publications, including the first edition of The Evolution of Orthopaedic Surgery , The Tourniquet Handbook, The Human Foot and Anatomy: A Very Short Introduction for Oxford University Press.
