Martin Herrmann, Dipl.- Soz. - Wiss., wurde 1984 in Eberswalde geboren. Sein Studium der Sozialwissenschaften an der Universität Duisburg- Essen, schloss der Autor im Jahre 2010, mit dem akademischen Grad des Dipl.- Soz. - Wiss., erfolgreich ab. Bereits während des Studiums sammelte der Autor umfassende praktische Erfahrungen im Bereich der Sozial- und Jugendhilfeplanung. Durch die mehrjährige Begleitung des regionalen Hilfenetzwerkes, im Rahmen der Umsetzung verschiedener europäischer Förderprogramme, näherte sich der Autor dem Thema der ungleichen Bildungspositionierungen von SchülerInnen, mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund, auf einer eher unkonventionellen Art und Weise.
