Pediatric Acute Care Certification Review

Andrea Kline-Tilford is a pediatric nurse practitioner, certified in both primary and acute care, with more than a decade of experience in pediatric critical care and pediatric pulmonology. She is currently faculty with the Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Andrea has significant experience with publishing and lecturing on pediatric acute and critical care topics. She has had the opportunity to hold several leadership positions in professional organizations and has a passion for the professional advancement of pediatric providers. Cathy Haut is a pediatric nurse practitioner, certified in both primary and acute care with many years of experience in both areas, currently working in the PICU of a community hospital and in a busy pediatric primary care practice. She is also faculty at the University of Maryland School of Nursing Acute and Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Programs. Cathy was educated as a clinical nurse specialist and has worked in that capacity in pediatrics as well as working for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board with expertise in test development. She has many publications and presentations on both clinical and professional topics related to pediatrics and has functioned in many volunteer positions for a variety of nursing organizations.
