The aim of the handbook is to provide a practical guide for residents and general radiologists, organized alphabetically, primarily according to disease or condition. The handbook will be designed as a short booklet with some illustrations and schemes and will cover topics on cardiac MDCT and MRI. Entries typically include a short description of pathological and clinical characteristics, guidance on selection of the most appropriate imaging technique, a schematic review of potential diagnostic clues, and useful tips and tricks.

Author: Carlo De Cecco is a young radiologist working with Prof. Andrea Laghi (Univ. Tor Vergata, Rome). During his residency years but also on the occasion of congresses, meetings, lectures, he has taken various notes and organized a glossary for quick reference in radiologic reporting of other clinical practice occurrences. Author: Marco Rengo is Research doctorate in "Surgical Physiopatology of the Chest and Heart and Functional Imaging", SAPIENZA University of Rome. He is also Author/Coauthor of 12 scientific papers, 11 book chapters and 145 scientific contributions in national/ international congresses.
