Smoke and Mirrors

Lindsey Miller is a musical director and award-winning composer. For the last ten years, she has worked in theatres across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. During 2017-2019, Lindsey lived in Pyongyang, North Korea while accompanying her husband on a diplomatic posting. Through one of the most turbulent periods in North Korea's recent history, she was able to explore this country in a way only afforded to the few foreigners who live there. Through photographs and stories, she depicts the North Korea behind the headlines, where everyday life is often as alien as it is familiar. Lindsey is originally from Glasgow, Scotland. She now lives in Kent.
