The BTEC Level 2 First Assessment Resource Pack provides a programme of readymade assignments for the 2010 specification.
Save valuable planning time: 12 readymade assignments, all you need for a full Diploma so you can get straight into delivery* - use these as they stand or edit them to suit your needs
Deliver a varied and engaging course: our assignments give learners the opportunity to study a variety of themes, develop a range of skills and techniques, and use different media and materials. Themes include 'Consumerism and Pop Art' and 'Fashion and Textiles - Inspired by American Indian Art'
Adopt a holistic approach: most assignments in this Pack assess more than one unit, demonstrating a holistic approach to the generation of portfolio evidence for a strong art and design programme
Prepare learners for progression and employment: scenarios bring the assignments to life, introducing learners to the types of projects they might undertake when working in the art and design sector
Assess learner work with confidence: sample learner work for six of the assignments.
All materials are available in a ring binder. A CD-ROM is also provided to give you all materials electronically: view these on screen, share examples at the front of class, tailor the assignments for your own use, and share materials with your colleagues by uploading to your VLE.
*Subject to internal verification
