An illustrated biography of Mary Anning, one of the most famous figures in science
Mary Anning tells the story of this key scientific figure - covering her first fossil finds at the age of ten to her sales of important discoveries to wealthy scientists. Mary's discoveries, and her work interpreting them, made a great contribution to what scientists understood about pre-historic life.
Great Scientists are first biographies introducing some of the world's great scientists, simply retelling their lives and explaining why their work was important. Perfect for children aged 7 plus. Each book has been book banded and includes a quiz at the end to test what has been learned.
