Magical heists. Deadly secrets. A world of danger. . . . This heart-stopping, seductive fantasy is perfect for fans of Six of Crows.

The Dark Fable is an urban legend come to life. The notorious crew of thieves with magical abilities are known for secreting away obscure and occult artifacts. Evie Wilder is an orphan who’s gone through most of her life unnoticed . . . until her ability to turn invisible catches the group’s eye.

Unable to resist the allure of this newfound family, Evie joins the world of thieves. For Evie’s first heist, the Dark Fable must steal a book of magic and spirits written by Queen Elizabeth’s court magician.

But the deeper Evie gets, the more skeletons in the Dark Fable’s past she discovers. No one is who they seem to be and the price of their next heist could be more than Evie is willing to pay . . .

Katherine Harbour was born in Albany, NY, where she attended the Russell Sage Junior College of Albany and wrote while holding down jobs as a pizza maker, video store clerk, and housekeeper. She then attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and, after moving to Sarasota, Florida, sold her paintings in cafes and galleries. She now lives in upstate New York, where she works as a bookseller. She’s a lover of nature, folklore, and ancient things. She’s the author of the Thorn Jack series, an adult contemporary dark fantasy threaded with Celtic myth. https://katherineharbour.com/ Instagram: @katharbour77 Twitter: @katharbour
