As a young girl, reading was not one of my favorite past times. I would much rather sit and watch a movie than read a book. But this changed when I became a teacher. I loved to read the books my students were reading and looked forward to the conversations we would have about the characters. I also realized how much I enjoyed teaching my students to write. Because of this, I decided that one day I would write my own book but didn't realize how long it would take me to put those words on paper. Now that I have retired, I have finally accomplished the goal I set for myself. Unexpected Return is the sequel to Unexpected Detour and I hope you enjoy reading both.
