The Legend of Zelda is a new adventure in the classic franchise, now for GameCube. The series' popular mix of sword-swinging action, puzzles, and a compelling storyline remains the primary focus in this game while the new cel-shaded graphics give it the feel of a true "interactive cartoon". The story begins with Link living peacefully on a small island. Suddenly, a large bird snatches Link's sister, Arilla, and flies away with her. The occurrence sends Link on a quest to rescue Arilla and solve the mystery behind her disappearance. Players embark on an epic adventure that expands on the revolutionary gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and features action, stealth, boss fights, and more.
