Principles and Practice of Forensic Psychiatry

This text focuses on the needs of forensic psychiatrists. Specific chapters address psychiatric disability determinations for social security workers' compensation, ethical guidelines, and how to apply clinical data to psychiatric-legal criteria. Many of the contributors to this text are among the most prominent members of the American Acadamy of Psychiatry and the Law. Where possible, they specify areas of general agreement on forensic topics, as well as describe major contending views on topics that lack consensus.
