Edward L. Bowen is an American Thoroughbred horse racing historian and author of more than fifteen books on horse racing. He was editor of the Canadian Horse and editor-in-chief of The Blood-Horse. Bowen is currently the president of the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, an institution involved in funding equine research. He resides in Versailles, KY.
