Without the support of many people this project would not have been completed. I am very thankful to all the people who helped me to provide this most valuable text on the profound meditation practices in Tibetan and who highlighted the importance of this work. I am especially thankful to Khenpo Chowang from Gonjang Monastery, Gangtok, Sikkim, for proofreading the text and giving general advice, to Ven. Tulku Thondup Rinpoche for providing the outline, to Jeff Wallman, Executive Director of Tibetan Buddhist Resource Center, New York, USA for providing a scanned digital copy of the original Tibetan pechas, and to Tsultsem Gyatso from Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Gangtok, Sikkim, for assisting in breaking the Tibetan text into chapters. Finally, I wish to thank the Khordong Terchen Tulku Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche for bringing this text to the west. His kindness can not be repaid. I am happy to make this text more accessible with this new edition and give it back to the Himalayan people. May it be beneficial. May all beings be happy.Andreas Ruft (Tsultrim Tarchin), Tashiding, Sikkim, Losar 2139, the Year of the Water Dragon.
