THE EDITORS STANLEY HAUERWAS is the Gilbert T. Rowe Professor of Theological Ethics at Duke Divinity School. His numerous books include The Peaceable Kingdom (2003) and Hannah's Child: A Theologian's Memoir (2010). SAMUEL WELLS is Dean of Duke University Chapel and Research Professor of Christian Ethics at Duke Divinity School.
