This is a slide atlas which accompanies the book entitled "Techniques in Therapeutic Arthroscopy". The text, for orthopaedic surgeons and graduate students demonstrates, via arthroscopic photographs and diagrams, the therapeutic applications of the arthroscope which, in many cases, removes the need for costly and painful orthopaedic surgery. The book is divided into sections, each of which refers to a specific joint. Some of the procedures described are for: medial and lateral menisci pathology; stapling capsulorrhaphy; instability of the ankle; lateral and anterior approaches to the hip; and carpal tunnel release. It also emphasizes the principles and fine points of various procedures and shows how pitfalls can be avoided and complications minimized.
