Dr. Rexford E. Santerre, Professor of Finance and Healthcare Management at the University of Connecticut, has taught at the college level for more than 25 years. In addition to co-authoring HEALTH ECONOMICS, he has written numerous articles for various general and specialty academic journals, including the American Journal of Public Health, Applied Health Economics and Health Policy, Economic Inquiry, Healthcare Management Review, Health Economics, International Journal of Health Care Finance and Economics, Journal of Law and Economics, Medical Care Research and Review, National Tax Journal, Public Choice, Southern Economic Journal, and The Review of Economics and Statistics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Stephen Neun is Vice President for Academic Affairs at Antioch University New England. He previous served as Academic Dean at Anna Maria College, as Professor of Economics, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, and as Dean of the School of Graduate and Extended Studies at Utica College. In addition to co-authoring HEALTH ECONOMICS, he has published articles on Federal Reserve policy and the location decision of primary care. He also has published articles on executive compensation and corporate control in such journals as the Quarterly Journal of Business, Economics and Managerial Decision Economics, and The Review of Economics and Statistics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Connecticut.
