Prof (Dr.) G. Thilagavathi has been involved in teaching and research in the field of textiles for more than 28 years. She is Professor and Head of the Department of Textile Technology, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. She completed her Ph.D in 2003 at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Based on her research publications, Prof Thilagavathi holds a h-index of 24 and an i-10 index of 52 with 1932 citations. Dr. R. Rathinamoorthy is Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He has a google H index of 11 and a Scopus H index of 7 with more than 300+ citations. He completed his Ph.D. on “Studies on odour formation characteristics of Textiles” in 2016. He received the “Young Achiever Award” for 2019 from the Institute of Engineers India (IEI), Coimbatore chapter and received “Young Engineer Award" for 2016-17 from Institute of Engineers India (IEI), Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He has published 19 national and 51 international research articles in various refereed and non-refereed journals as well as 5 books and 18 book chapters with various international publishers.
