The book presents an in-depth review of the growth and challenges of the Nigerian oil and gas industry. It also highlights the geological features of the oil and gas bearing regions of the country. In particular, the emerging prominence of the Gulf of Guinea as a prolific hydrocarbon bearing zone is extensively evaluated.
Soala Ariweriokuma is an economist and former lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt. He joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1992 and has worked in key divisions of the corporation. He is currently General Manager of NIDAS International (an NNPC/DSME Joint Venture Company).
