Nicole Volmering is Research Assistant Professor in the Department of History and PI of the SFI-IRC-funded Early Irish Hands: The Development of Writing in Early Ireland. Claire M. Dunne is Head of the Department of English and the Department of Irish in Marino Institute of Education. John Walsh is Ussher Assistant Professor in Higher Education and co-ordinator of the Diploma/M.Ed in Higher Education at Trinity College Dublin. Noel Ó Murchadha is Associate Professor in Language Education at Trinity College Dublin.
