John D. Ruddy, from Letterkenny, County Donegal, is a writer, actor, teacher, illustrator and historian. He is the creator of Manny Man and the YouTube history series Manny Man Does History, including World War 1 in 6 Minutes and Irish History in 6 Minutes. When not writing and illustrating history videos, John is usually treading the boards of the Irish stage as a professional actor or in the classroom teaching history.
