All dogs are happier with proper training, as are their owners. This handbook is based on the authors' 10-week training course, and aims to build up dog and trainer confidence step-by-step as each week progresses. It should transform a lead-pulling, disobedient dog into an obedient companion.
All dogs are better and happier with proper training, as are their owners. The book is firmly based on the authors' 10-week training course, and builds up dog and trainer confidence step-by-step as each week progresses. The reader is taken through all aspects of dog training, with specially commissioned, clear step-by-step photographs. Each step is simply explained and throughout there are useful checklists. The Collins Dog Training Handbook will transform a lead-pulling, disobedient dog into a happy, obedient companion and not leave the owner exhausted. In fact, throughout the book the emphasis is on making the training both fun and easy to do. Chapter Breakdown: 1. Why train your dog? 2. How and when do I start? 3. Methods 4. The Weekly Training Course (Weeks 1-10) 5. Summary
