From the colonial streets of Havana and Santiago to the white-sand beaches of Playa Los Cocos, Footprint's completely revised and updated 5th edition handbook will show you how to make the most of this incredible country, whether it's discovering the party city of Santiago de Cuba or getting back to nature in one of the many national parks. Full and detailed listings of how to get around and the best places to eat and drink Fantastic listings of where to sleep whether it's a simple hammock on the beach or a grand Havana hotel Includes author recommendations of how to get off the beaten path Great mapping to help you navigate your way round this beautiful island

After a degree in Latin American Studies, Sarah Cameron has been travelling and writing on the continent ever since, both as an economist and as an author for Footprint. Initially moonlighting for the South American Handbook, while working for a British bank, in 1990 she parted company with the world of finance and has been contributing to the expansion of Footprint titles ever since. Sarah now concentrates solely on the Caribbean and is the author of Footprint’s Caribbean Islands Handbook. When she is not travelling around the Caribbean sampling beaches and rum cocktails, she retreats to her 17th-century farmhouse in rural Suffolk.
