Barış Soyer is Professor of Commercial and Maritime Law and Director of the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, University of Swansea and is a Visiting Professor at Dalian Maritime University (PRC), Shanghai Maritime University (PRC), Jimei University (PRC) and Lorraine University (France). He has been involved in teaching of maritime law subjects for almost 20 years and he is also involved in the delivery of courses designed for practitioners that are offered by the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law as well as writing and editing numerous books on maritime law topics. Andrew Tettenborn is Professor of Commercial Law at the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, University of Swansea and has taught extensively at universities in Britain, Europe and the United States and has enormous experience in writing, teaching and lecturing to professional audiences on private, commercial and maritime law.
