An account is given of the Limitation Act 1980 together with all the significant developments including the Latent Damage Act 1986, the Consumer Protection Act 1988 and the House of Lords decision in the Pirelli vs Oscar Faber 1983. The case-law and statutoru provisions covering all aspects of limitation and the procedural issues directly concerned with the substansive law are considered. Also considered are actions in the European Court of Justice and the various Carrriage Statutes which incorporate the time limits of the International Carriage Conventions.
