Frances Silverman is a solicitor and formerly a reader at the College of Law (now the University of Law). She has been the author of the Law Society's Conveyancing Handbook since 1992.Frances is also author of other books on conveyancing and professional ethics, sits as a fee paid employment judge and as a judge in the First Tier Property Tribunal, and is a founder member of the Institute of Expert Witnesses.
