Basic Concepts and Recent Advances in Microbial Diversity, Taxonomy, Speciation and Evolution

Suchitra Godbole has a doctorate in Microbiology from the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, India. She has over 30 years of professional experience, including 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research and development at the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur, India. She has served as the Head of Microbiology and Biotechnology at the Raisoni Group of Institutions, Nagpur, India. She has published 30 research papers, six book chapters and 40 conference presentations.Dhara Prem Sachdev has nearly eight years of experience in academia, research, and corporate tasks with a specialization in molecular diversity, genetics and precision medicine. She has a doctorate in Biotechnology from the Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. As a Young Scientist awardee and the principal investigator for two research projects, she has contributed to various manuscripts, review articles, and books. Her teaching topics namely concern bacterial classification, microbial diversity, and metagenomics.
