With a lot of useful practical tips, the book guides the user into solving a range of analytical tasks. A range of examples shows how information from the primary literature can be efficiently transferred into your own laboratory for practical applications.

Eike Reich Reich is Head of CAMAG Laboratory, Basel, Switzerland, dedicated to the development of thin-layer chromatography and its practical applications for solving a wide range of analytical tasks. He studied chemistry and obtained his PhD in natural product chemistry from Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. He then became Associate Professor of Chemistry at Longwood College, Farmville, Virginia, USA. For eight years he taught organic and analytical chemistry with emphasis on chromatographic methods. Dr. Reich is a founding board member of the International Association for the Advancement of High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography, editor of Journal of Planar Chromatography and author or co-author of numerous articles and book chapters on thin layer chromatography. Tiên Do is working at CAMAG Laboratory as Scientific Customer Support. She studied chemistry at the University of Bordeaux, France and University of Bristol, UK.
