Dr Michael Silbermann received his DMD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, and his PhD from Tufts University Medical School in Boston, USA. He completed his postdoctoral research at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and spent a year as a visiting scientist at the NIH in Bethesda, MD, USA. Professor Silberman has published over 380 articles in international journals, presented over 560 presentations in international meetings and organized over 70 international workshops. Dr Ann Berger completed her MSN in Oncology Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. After working as an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist for several years, Dr Berger completed her medical training at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, USA. fDr Berger has had over 30 years of experience in pain and palliative care. Currently she is chief of pain and palliative care in a clinical center. Dr Berger’s research involves developing ways to measure psychosocial spiritual healing.
