Lara V. Marcuse, MD, is co-director of the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Program and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology. Dr. Marcuse joined the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2009. She is board certified in neurology and neurophysiology. Dr. Marcuse received her BA in mathematics and neurobiology from Cornell University and her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In medical school, she received the Daniel Mann Award for her outstanding service to underserved communities. She did her medical internship, neurology residency, and neurophysiology fellowship at the NYU-Langone Medical Center. She served as chief resident for neurology in her final year of residency. Madeline Fields, MD is a Co-Director of the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Program and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Fields' primary clinical focus is the medical and surgical management of epilepsy patients, including diet and complementary therapies. Her other areas of interest are conditions where epilepsy is a frequent complication including autism, dementia, and psychiatric conditions Ji Yeoun (Jenna) Yoo, MD is an assistant professor of Neurology at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her medical degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. She received her neurology residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in epilepsy/EEG at the comprehensive epilepsy center at Yale University. After her fellowship, she returned to Mt. Sinai to join the faculty. Dr. Yoo specializes in Epilepsy/EEG. She monitors and interprets EEGs for the patients in the epilepsy monitoring units, intensive care units, and in ambulatory settings. Dr. Yoo's clinical and research interests include medical management and pre-surgical evaluation of patients with epilepsy and their long term outcomes, cognitive and behavioral aspects of epilepsy, and EEG monitoring. She is board certified in Neurology, Epilepsy, and Critical Care EEG monitoring.
