lt;p>Cemal Cingi, MD, is a Professor in the Otorhinolaryngology Department at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Medical Faculty, Eskisehir, Turkey. He graduated from the School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 1984 and then entered the Otorhinolaryngology Residency Programme at Anadolu University, Eskisehir, becoming a Specialist in ORL & HNS in 1990. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in 1995 and as a Professor in 2001. In 2013 he became an accredited Specialist in Mouth, Face, and Chin Surgery. Dr. Cingi served as the Chair of the ENT Section of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and President of the Asian Facial Plastic Surgery Society (AFPSS). He is the editor of the journal ENT Updates and an editorial board member for several other journals.
Nuray Bayar Muluk, MD, has been working at the Otolaryngology Department at Kirikkale University Faculty of Medicine, Turkey since 1997, and has been a Professor at the same University since 2008. She graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and completed her ENT residency at the same University in 1994. Her interests include basic research, projects, and rhinology. She has published 225 international and 70 national papers and she is a co-editor of 3 international books, 6 national books and 2 translated books. She has more than 75 book chapters.
Glenis Scadding MD, FRCP is an Honorary Consultant Physician in Allergy and Rhinology at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Division of Immunity and Infection, University College London. She was President of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2009 to 2012. In 2006, she won their William Frankland Award for outstanding contribution to clinical allergy in the UK. She was Allergy UK's Allergist of the Year in 2011 and was honored by the British Medical Association (Walter Jobson Horne Award for ENT research), European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (Clemens von Pirquet Award for research in allergies) and WAO (Outstanding Clinician Award) in recent years. Dr Scadding's research interests include rhinitis and its co-morbidities, including asthma. She is the author of over 300 peer-reviewed scientific publications, has contributed to ten books as an author, and has edited four more.
Ranko Mladina MD Graduated from the Medical School of Zagreb University in 1973 and became an ENT specialist in 1980. Retired from the position of Head of the Referral Centre for Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Rhinosinusology, Ministry of Health, Republic of Croatia, and as professor of ORL at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, in 2014. Croatian Delegate to the European Rhinologic Society (ERS) 1994-2006, European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO) since 1999, past President of the International Society for Nasal Polyposis, Honorary Member of the Brazilian Rhinologic Society, member of the American Rhinologic Society (ARS), past President of the IFOS Consensus Group on Nasal Polyposis, member of the IFOS Standing Committee for Rhinology and Allergology, member of the Associazione Italiana di Chirurgia Estetica e Funzionale Rhinocervicofaciale, and honorary member of the Societa Italiana di Rinologia. Author of seven books and more than 150 scientific publications; founder and Honorary President of the Croatian International Rhinosurgical Advanced School (CIRAS). Identified three new clinical entities in rhinosinology: Two Holes Syndrome (THS), Cobweb Rhinitis (arachnoidal rhinitis) and REKAS (Recurrent Epistaxis from Kiesselbach's Area Syndrome). The inventor of five new instruments for nasal surgery, endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery (patented).
