Jacqueline Fawcett, PhD, RN, FAAN, is a Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at eh University of Massachusetts-Boston. ||Lorraine Tulman, DNSc, RN, FAAN, is an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of nursing.

Part 1 Introduction: a theory of adaptation during childbearing.
