Clinical Scenarios in Pain

This work is a problem-orientated aid for the trainee in anaesthesia, presenting problems and textbook solutions to realistic clinical scenarios which are liable to present themselves to the anaesthetist in his/her routine practice. The book is intended for the anaesthetist in training, as pain management is an important component of the fellowship examination. It is also relevant to teachers in anaesthesia. A secondary readership would be amongst surgeons, who have some responsibility for the management of post-operative pain.
