Dr. Michael Rothkopf's career has been characterized as a balance between his dedication to excellent patient care and his foresight as a medical educator and innovator. His clinical efforts have directly touched the lives of innumerable patients and improved the delivery of medical care in the region. He is responsible for important developments in medical nutrition, homecare therapeutics, computerized medical records systems, medical telecommunications, novel treatment approaches and diagnostic methods. He holds 3 patents, has written more than 100 scientific publications and edited four medical textbooks. He is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of successful medical ventures. Dr. Rothkopf is currently the Director of Metabolic Medicine at Morristown Medical Center and President of the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists where he is working to obtain recognition of Nutrition and Metabolism by medical specialty boards.
