Zoonoses are diseases naturally transmissible between vertebrate animals and man including those transmitted by direct contact with infected animals or carcases, by food or water contamination, and by inhalation of infected dust. They are increasingly important in public health issues. This multidisciplinary book is written by international specialists in human and veterinary medicine.
