'BradyGames Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 Official Strategy Guide for GameCube' provides maps of new levels, highlighting course objectives and secret areas. A breakdown of tricks and gaps gives players the competitive edge to link massive scoring lines. Tips for the expanded Create-A-Skater and Create-A-Park modes of play are also provided.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for GameCube is the latest version in the popular series for the Nintendo GameCube. Although essentially a port of the PS2 version, this game has graphic enhancements and a bonus platform-specific level that are exclusive to this version. Players will choose to skate as Tony Hawk or as one of 12 other pro skaters, including Bam Margera, a new skater from MTV's Jackass. Gamers will ride through 10 huge interactive levels that include new obstacles like dodging cars and pedestrians and crashing through windows and walls. As players progress through the levels, they will also have access to many new moves, like the "revert", which allows them to continue linking tricks after landing. The ability to create characters is also available in this game with the enhanced Create-A-Skater mode, which allows players to choose female and kid skaters. Players will also be able to customize their boarders with the wide selection of characteristics available for each character. Not Final Cover.
