This official guide to the sequel of "Star Trek Armada" provides a complete walkthrough of the game with detailed mission objectives. Included are combat and tactical strategies, and the strengths and weaknesses of the three races.
Star Trek: Armada II, the sequel to the original hit RTS game, features more ship classes and weapons than the original game, in an enhanced 3D experience. In the single player mode, gamers command the fleets of three of the most popular Star Trek races: the Federation, the Klingons, and the Borg. In the multiplayer mode, the will lead fleets from six different races. With numerous weapons and many different types of starships available, gamers will lead their race through 27 intense missions to restore peace and ultimately gain supremacy in the galaxy. In addition, new aliens have been added to spice up the action. New deceptive species include fluidic space-dwellers, Species 8472 and more. The introduction of the tactical view mode will allow gamers to be on top of the action, since the camera can rotate in various directions and zoom in and around any ship.
