Barrie Slaymaker is the founder and principal of Slaymaker Systems, Inc., an independent consulting firm that offers systems design and implementation services, and that specializes in networked, distributed systems. He is a regular participant in the mod_perl Garden Project -- an open source community dedicated to developing and evangelizing mod_perl -- and he has contributed to CPAN (Comprehensive Perl Archive Network).
