Myth III: The Wolf Age is actually a prequel to the two original Myth games, taking place 1000 years beforehand. In a complete 3D-fantasy world, players follow the legendary hero Connacht, who saved his people from the clutches of the Trow and Myrkridia races. The game takes players through the story of how Connacht became a hero. Gamers will cast spells, gain experience, build ancient devices and collect items in an effort to win wars against the Myrkridia and Trow. Players will also enjoy the extra bonus in the 3D world--true 3D characters that react to environmental effects and contact. When an explosion happens, for example, the shockwave that occurs will cause trees to sway. Cover art not final.
