Marie-France Plassard worked for many years for two core programmes of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA ): Universal Availability of Publications (UAP), based at the British Library, and Universal Bibliographic Control and International MARC (UBCIM), based at the German National Library. She is currently CCQ Associate Editor Gordon Dunsire is Chair of the Joint Steering Group for Development of RDA and is an expert in the technical development and implementation of international bibliographic standards for information resource description and retrieval.
