Steve Ditko stands as one of the most influential artists and writers in comic book history, best known for his work at Marvel co-creating Spider-Man and creating Doctor Strange. As the artist of the first 38 issues of The Amazing Spider-Man, Ditko collaborated with Stan Lee to introduce timeless characters including Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, J. Jonah Jameson, Aunt May, and many more. At Charlton Comics, Ditko created the Question, an enigmatic detective and journalist. At DC, his creations and co-creations include the Creeper, Hawk and Dove, and Shade the Changing Man. Ditko passed away in 2018.
