Creating homes around client stories is the exact opposite of what Grace was told to do when breaking into the design world. “Pick a style, stick to it, and repeat it over and over”, a respected mentor once told her. Instinctually, this felt wrong. Grace's desire for people to feel seen and heard, a desire likely stemming from being bullied as a child, was too strong to enact a rinse and repeat version of design. When her husband gifted her a notebook and photo album inscribed with "Show others your Storied Style” on the inside cover, her fate was sealed. Grace has now made it her mission to show people their story can and should complete their home.

Since the premiere of her first television show, Grace has received thousands of emails and messages from people wondering how their stories would translate to their home.
