Kristin Roskifte is a Norwegian illustrator and author and winner of the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize. She has created seven picture books with topics like dream homes, queueing and animals with body issues. Three of her books are about the alphabet happy couple Alf and Beate, whose lives are based on letter shapes. Roskifte has more than ten years' experience as a freelance illustrator, working for editorials, advertising and design. Her work has won her many awards and great reviews. She has an MA in Illustration from Kingston University in London, and a BA in Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. She lives and works just outside Oslo, Norway.
