Provides a consideration of the major conceptual aspects of conducting research. This book examines and provides practical advice on the whole process of research, from philosophical underpinnings to key concepts in implementation. It is for post-graduate students, at both MA and PhD level, and for those carrying out research for the first time.
Despite the existence of a large number of research methods textbooks, until now there has not been one offering coherent discussion of or clearly outlining a 'strategy' for research. How to do Research is intended to decisively redress this imbalance.
